Church account & billing
Everything belongs to the church
The account is the church's, not any one person's. One subscription covers every musician and every admin, and a second admin sees the same members, the same servers and the same invoices as the first.
That matters when the person who set it up moves on: invite another admin and nothing has to be transferred or re-bought.
Admins and musicians
| Musician | Signs in and is taken straight to their own mix. They never see the dashboard, and they can only change their own monitor mix — not anybody else's, and nothing on the board. |
|---|---|
| Admin | Sees the dashboard, manages the team and the subscription, and gets the roster view in the app: the whole team's equipment and every musician's mix. Admins can also connect a server. |
Somebody can be both — a worship leader who runs sound and sings. In the app they get ⋮→Switch to My Mix to move between the two.
Have at least two admins
Team
Team lists everyone in your church, and the invitations you've sent that nobody has accepted yet.
Inviting someone
- Press Invite and enter their name. The email address is optional.
- Tick the admin box only if they should be able to manage the team, servers and subscription.
- You get a QR code, a link, an email box and a share button — use whichever suits. The same invitation can be re-opened later from the pending list and sent again.
This is the same invitation flow as ⋮→Invite Musician in the app, deliberately. Use whichever screen you happen to be looking at.
New members appear on the app's roster automatically. If someone has just accepted and isn't showing yet, press ↻ Refresh Team Roster on ⋮→Settings→Team rather than waiting.
Servers
Every installation connected to your church, with whether it's currently reachable. A server adds itself here the first time an admin signs in on it — there is nothing to register by hand.
- Online means the server has checked in recently.
- Offline means it hasn't — the PC is switched off, the app isn't running, or that building has lost its internet. The app still works on the church's own network in the last case.
- Name each one under ⋮→Settings→Team if you run more than one building.
Status is refreshed on a timer, so it lags reality by a few minutes. Don't read a brief “offline” just after a restart as a fault — see troubleshooting.
Subscription
Subscription shows your church's plan and its billing details. Admins can change plan, update the card, and download invoices through the billing portal.
A brand-new account starts here: you name your church and choose a plan on the same page, because a subscription belongs to a church and one has to exist for the plan to attach to.
Nothing is switched off automatically
Cancelling stops future charges. Connecting a new server needs an active subscription, so that's the first thing you'll notice if you come back later.
Account
Account shows your own profile: the name and email address your sign-in provider holds for you. Change those with your identity provider — Google, Microsoft, or wherever you signed up — and they'll follow through here.
Signing out here signs you out of the website. The app on the church PC has its own ⋮→Sign Out, which ends the session on that device only.
